Airbus Cybersecurity, a fully owned subsidiary of the Defence and Space division of Airbus, is specialised in high end cyber security solutions for sensitive environments, serving governments, public institutions, critical infrastructure and other industries next to our own group.

    We provide a comprehensive defence approach that dynamically protects, detects and responds to cyber threats with a portfolio that includes managed security services, tailored design and integration, industrial control system offerings, key management, training and consultancy services.

    Our main sites are located in Paris, Munich and Newport, were we run our own Security Operations Centres (SOCs), but we also have several smaller offices in our home countries and support customers across Europe.

    A vacancy for a HR Business Partner (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus CyberSecurity in Munich/Ottobrunn (Germany).

     

    Description of the job - Tasks & accountabilities

    We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to act as a key player in the local management team and support the business on all People needs. We expect to reinforce our activities and become a key player on the market. A short-term project will boost the number of employees from 31 to approximatively 170 and you will have the chance to take part of the creation of a New Company and co build the future culture, values, ways of working etc. with several stakeholders already involved. 

    Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

    As HR Business Partner you will implement and run operationally HR processes in accordance with HR policy to support the business objectives. You will advise, coach and challenge the management team & the employees for their business area on general business and HR topics. You will own and manage the relationship with local Social Partners/Works Councils, supporting management with regular dialogue and negotiations.

    • Define HR action plans, based on business requirements. The HRBP coaches managers, enabling them to take actions for creating and maintaining a successful, engaging, healthy and safe environment within their perimeter. He/she ensures HR proximity to the employees by taking appropriate measures.

    • Implement HR Company policies, services and programmes for the respective organisational unit (by accessing the operative service capacity in HR Operations). Can act as “HR Cycle” coordinator at transnational level for a specific business unit. 

    • The HRBP carries out all the HR processes linked to the annual cycle within the perimeter according to time, cost and quality. He/she collaborates and challenges the managers and HO BU.

    • Identify change management activities within the business area. Drive and/or facilitate the change with any appropriate measure(s) and control the sustainability of change processes

    • Qualitative and quantitative resource management in cooperation with the Business, in order to ensure the right level of recruitment and mobility (competences management, headcount planning, staffing). Ensure implementation on time, cost and quality of  learning, training/development actions/measurements in the organisational unit

    • Identification and selection of talents and follow-up of their development. Advise and support managers and employees on career development (support individual development plan(s), promotions)

    • Lead national HR projects or contribute to business project locally as HR advisor and experts. Support transnational HR or business projects

    • Own and manage the relationship with Social Partners /Works Council(s), establishing regular dialogue and supporting management in negotiations according to the respective national rules.

    • Responsibility for Social Policy and Industrial/Employee Relations for the German legal entity, pro-actively managing and mitigating employment risks.

    • Ensure that the Company’s Ethics and Compliance approach and the respective rules and behaviours are respected and followed by managers & employees. Apply consequential management when behaviours are not in line with Company expectations.

     

    Required skills

    You have the following skills and experience:

    • You have completed (business) management studies, economy studies, psychology studies, law studies or comparable studies (maybe with HR specialization) – or equivalent

    • You have profound professional experience (at least 5 years) in the field of Human Resources, incl. operational HRBP experience, knowledge of HR processes

    • You have strong communication and conflict resolution skills

    • Your negotiation skills are outstanding

    • You have a high level of problem-solving ability, proactivity and independence 

    • Your degree of assertiveness, authoritative and diplomatic manner is high

    • You way of working is structured and organized

    • You have a very good knowledge of MS Office, SAP and Airbus HR tools (e.g. myPulse)

    • Your German and English language skills are business fluent, French language knowledge would be a plus
