    The company creates business in more than 55 countries, operating internationally from its headquarters in Berlin, Germany and offices in UK, USA, Australia, Panama, Poland, Spain, South Africa, India and South East Asia.

     

    Your tasks will include:

    • Execute and manage projects according to ib vogt safety, ethical and quality standards as well as Governmental regulations from development to start of operation;
    • Conduct due-diligence and analysis on new opportunities (acquisitions, partnerships);  Identify potential projects and participate in the initiation of cooperation/development agreements; 
    • Coordinate/Interface with engineering, legal, finance, procurement, construction and portfolio management as needed to ensure effective execution of assigned solar projects;
    • Lead of the negotiation of project’s contracts with government entities and offtakers;
    • Manage consultants, external stakeholders, and other third parties to ensure projects’ success;
    • Manage budgets, milestones, schedules and deliverables for assigned development projects; 
    • Responsible for developing and executing an annual business plan which includes a strategic plan, financial plan for the given area of operation;
    • Develop responses to RFQ and RFP;
    • Responsible for Market Development and Market Shaping activities such as engaging government regulators, financing entities, utilities to accelerate the uptake of the PV and energy storage market;
    • Define, approve local partner in diverse markets
     

    Your Profile:

    • Master or Bachelor‘s Degree in a relevant area 
    • Proven performance with business development and bid strategy
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience within solar business 
    • Project management experience
    • Africa experience is mandatory (Western Africa preferred)
    • Fluent in French, English. Additional languages would be an asset
    • Self-driven and able to work, communicate and do networking closely with stakeholders from different cultures
    • Willingness to travel to the project area
