Your tasks
- As our new Data Engineer, you will work with Big Data technologies like Airflow, Spark, Kinesis, MSK, No-SQL databases, AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform, etc. You will influence the architecture of our platform and create the future of data-driven solutions at Bonial.com:
- Build the infrastructure and platform for Realtime processing, Data- and ML-Pipelines;
- Improve Data Quality and build tools for assuring it;
- Maintain our data processing pipelines and improve their scalability;
- Implement different Airflow DAGs and Spark-jobs to guarantee executable routines;
- Build a platform for data scientists and data analysts to extract, load and transform data for their use cases.
Your profile
You got a great experience with Python and at least one object-oriented language such as Java or Scala. Additionally you have:
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and know how to optimize distributed jobs;
- Experience in the field of DevOps especially in AWS, Terraform or Kubernetes would be a big plus;
- Passion, experience and problem-solving skills;
- The ability to learn self-sufficiently and fast;
- 2+ years of experience working with Big Data technologies as Airflow, Apache Spark and Hadoop;
- Experience in building distributed systems and maintaining them;
- Fluency in English.
