Your Team:
The Strategic Market Insights Department collects exclusive content for Statista about current topics for which data is scarce or unavailable using proprietary market models and expert surveys. The Operations Team is the technical backbone within the Strategic Market Insights Department. The team develops tools and processes within a highly automated unified data infrastructure to provide a robust and agile environment for analytical insights.
Your Tasks
- Support the design and implementation of dataflows and pipelines for new and current ETL processes.
- Support the design and development of software/web solutions for the automation of data processing and data products.
- Identify further automation potential for general optimization of data processing.
- Quality control: documentation, maintenance, and enhancement of ETL processes.
Your Profile
- Successful completion of studies (Bachelor/Master) in computer science, data science or comparable subject.
- You have strong programming skills. Specially, you are fluent in Python and can work in general back end/front end devOps projects. You are used to handle relational databases (SQL, MySQL)
- You have high degree of commitment, initiative, quality awareness as well as a structured and independent way of working.
- You are reliable, open minded and flexible. Your communications skills are strong.
- You are a team player with a data-driven mindset and distinct analytical thinking along with a willingness to learn, explore, and apply diverse data technologies.
