Throughout the design process—from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes—you’ll envision how our user will experience our products, and bring that vision to life in a way that feels inspired, refined, and even magical. Mekari Product Design is made up of multi-disciplinary teams of UI/UX Designers, UX Researchers, UX Writers, and UX Engineers: we care deeply about the people who use our products. The team plays an integral part in gathering insights about the attitudes, emotions, and behaviors of people who use our products to inspire and inform design. We collaborate closely with each other and across teams to create industry-leading products that deliver value for the people who use them. 

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with cross functional members to define and evaluate user needs, opportunity space, and product requirements
• Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems
• Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience
• Producing and deliver detailed and compelling design proposals with high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
• Ensure product excellence throughout product development and implementation process

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience within UI, UX, applied research setting, and/or product research and development
• Experience working with early stage efforts, dealing with ambiguity and driving projects forward
• Experience in visual design (UI design, working with/extending a Design System, visualizations)
• Strong collaboration skills with other UI/UX Designer, Product Manager, Engineering, and Customer Support.
• Excellent strategic and critical thinking mindset
• Knowledge in design and innovation processes
