    Job Description
    Mintable's on the search for an experienced Human Resource Generalist with prior experience in a start up environment to join our growing team. In this role, you will split your time performing and overseeing two main activities (1) Talent Acquisition (2) HR Operations

    The current People team comprise of three individuals - Recruiter, HR Generalist and HR Assistant. We are using Smart Recruiter for our ATS, QuickHR for our HRIS and Lattice for our performance management system.

    (1) Talent Acquisition

    • Develop a strong employer brand position for Mintable
    • Partner with in-house recruiter to fill open roles
    • Ensure that the hiring roadmap is updated and followed accordingly
    • Come up with innovative ways to hire top talent in a tech starved market

    (2) HR Operations

    • Work on special projects such as periodically reviewing the company's frameworks and provide optimisation or implementation suggestions to build a robust training and development, compensation and benefit structure etc
    • Be a trusted partner amongst the colleagues to solicit feedback from the Team about HR initiatives
    • Partner with HR Generalist in day to day administrative duties
    • Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including; bi-weekly and semi-monthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking annual/sick pay, importing expense reimbursements, and benefit changes
    • Prepare monthly & quarterly HR analytics and reporting
    • Ensure compliance with labour regulations
    • Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience
    • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required
    • Other ad-hoc duties as required

    Qualifications
    To succeed in this role, we would love for you to have:

    • Proven 5+ years of experience in as a HR Manager in multiple functions such as learning and development, recruitment, compensation and benefits, general administration with increasing levels of responsibility and ownership
    • Prior experience leading a small team
    • Familiar with HR tools such as QuickHR, Smart Recruiter, Lattice etc.
    • Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
