About the role
With the companies flywheel kicking in, we are looking to onboard our first Brand Marketing Manager in the United States to own the branding, communication, community, events and PR at Sofy. You will devise creative strategies and engaging tactical campaigns to grow the Sofy brand popular amongst Enterprise & Mid-Market buyers.
Job Responsibilities
Own the branding, communication and social strategy on all external and internal facing properties
Evaluate, strategize and execute the annual events calendar with the focus on generating Enterprise & Mid-Market leads in the DevOps, SaaS space.
Strategize and execute interesting company events like webinars, roundtables etc online and offline with relevant audience
Improve social media presence significantly by strategizing the social calendar and creating engaging content & campaigns
Build and scale developer communities on social & owned channels
Build and maintain relationships with Tech Journalists and Influencers at all types of publications
Come up with interesting story angles, reaching out to journalists and securing spots in various publications
Updating and improving communication on the company website regularly
Own the regular communication with customers and leads using newsletters and other channels
Assist Digital Marketing with communication & content for email cadences
General marketing work like merchandises for team, customers and investors
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of experience with demonstrated success executing Branding activities at a high growth startup preferably in the B2B space
Strong grasp over Communication Frameworks and result driven approach to growing audiences and engagement
Demonstrated creative thinking to come up with interesting campaign ideas by understanding of customers and their behavior
Experience managing Website, Email Marketing and Social tools, building dev communities and Public Relations
Understanding of the B2B buying journey and buyer personas and devising strategies highly focused on the same
Experience working in the SaaS ecosystem for DevOps products.
