Cyvl is a fast growing, early stage technology company that is redefining how our civil engineers and governments manage our world’s physical infrastructure.
We are looking for a high energy, detail oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team and play a key role in helping us scale our business. We are looking for extremely motivated individuals with a strong track record of success in achieving their individual goals who care deeply about winning as a team and helping build up others around them.
What you’ll do:
Be primarily responsible for building your own pipeline through outbound phone and email outreach
Develop a confident understanding of the Cyvl’s solutions from a customer perspective
Interact with prospective customers and be able to engage in both technical and business oriented conversations
Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and the Cyvl sales team
Develop accurate forecasts and meticulously manage sales activity in HubSpot
Collaborate internally with the Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure deal closure and continued success
Qualifications:

You have a strong track record of success in whatever field or activity you’ve pursued and finish towards the top of the leaderboard
You take pride in your work - from written communication, to sales calls, to the long-term relationships built with customers - you strive to put your best foot forward and avoid complacency wherever possible
You have a strong desire to move up within a fast moving startup environment and want to create a strong foundational knowledge for a successful career in B2B technology sales
You thrive in a fast-paced environments inherent to a high-growth technology company like Cyvl
Bonus points:
You have worked at a startup before and loved it
You have 2+ years of prior SDR, BDR, or related sales experience with a history of exceeding quotas
You have experience selling to civil engineering firms, AEC firms, DOTS, and/or DPWs
You have a sense of humor! We know sales is a hard job, and there’s a lot of work to do to accomplish the lofty goals we have, but we also want to have fun along the way
