About the jobAffable is a high growth, venture-backed startup HQ’d in Singapore building for the creator economy. Launched in 2018, we have rapidly grown to become South East Asia’s largest Influencer Marketing platform. Our mission is to bring scale to word of mouth marketing by building products for the key stakeholders of this ecosystem: brands and Influencers.

We are hiring our first site reliability engineer to join our core team of engineers.

Your day to day job will have you:

 

Work closely with the CTO to define the SRE roadmap and strategy at Affable

Define SLOs and build tools to track SLIs across all teams

Build robust logging, monitoring, alerting and distributed tracing solutions

Build internal products to simplify operational workloads of support teams

Work closely with customer support to identify and patch common reliability issues

 

Tech Stack

Full stack: Typescript, NodeJS and Angular 10

Databases: MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Neo4j, Kafka, Cassandra

DevOps: Docker, Gitlab CI/CD, Kubernetes, GCP

Requirements:

 

5+ Years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering

Strong communication skills and leadership skills

Ability to ramp up quickly on complex codebases and new technologies

Ability to take ownership and define SRE roadmap

Ability to work with minimal direction
