    We are the platform that helps customers ease into the largest purchase of their life: a home. As a Director of Product at Divvy, you will lead a team of PMs across a given vertical (options shown below). As the leader of this vertical, you will set the product roadmap and strategy, manage a team of PMs, and interact with C-level executives as your business counterpart. The ideal candidate will be able to set a 5-year vision for the function and dive into the details to scope out a PRD with a PM. You can go to a board meeting and present on our future, just as easily as you can jump into a detailed analysis.     Consumer: The Consumer team vision is to ensure our customers understand our value proposition and have a seamless and delightful journey to putting out an offer on a home.  This team ensure a customer can land on our website, understand our value prop, find a home, and initiate an offer within minutes - without talking to anyone. The consumer team works with our Chief Revenue Officer to set OKRs for our marketing and sales organizations, and is held accountable to hitting our top-of-funnel targets.

    Capital: The Capital team vision is to ensure that Divvy is the trusted financial system of record for customers, investors and partners. Capital spans three pillars: (1) Financial Tools, used by our Finance, Capital Markets, and Operations teams and Investors; (2) our Machine Learning “foundational models” platform that powers the risk, pricing, underwriting, and buyback decisions for the business; and (3) partnering with the new businesses team to build out value-added financial services and products that surround the homebuying experience, in addition to our core first-time buyer product.

    Operations: The Operations team vision is to invest in technology that enables Divvy to better support our stakeholders (customers, agents, Divvy teammates, investors) throughout the homebuying lifecycle. Operations spans three pillars: (1) Internal Tools, used by our Divvy teammates to scale homes acquisitions, the customer tenant experience, and property management; (2) Offers, proprietary technology that allows us to extend a competitive offer in minutes while managing for portfolio health; (3) Platform, focused on the technical foundation required to scale our business. 

    As the Director of Product for one of these verticals, you will be a hands-on and entrepreneurial Product leader that is responsible for driving the product strategy, product development, and mentoring and guiding direct reports as they collaborate with engineers, design, data science and business / operations teammates. 

    We're a remote company. All roles are remote friendly, in the United States. We also have offices in San Francisco and Denver that our teammates utilize as meets their needs. Come join us!

    What you'll do: 

     

    Understand the needs of your customers, prioritize, continuously build and iterate.

    Ensure that product definition for the areas you work on, and the areas that your teams work on, is clear and of high quality.

    Build and manage a team of Product Managers, advising and guiding them as they autonomously make product decisions.

    Establish a shared vision across Divvy Homes by building alignment on priorities that lead to product execution against company KPIs.

    Create partnerships both inside and outside of the Product organization, including with key strategic financial partners outside of Divvy Homes

    Radical thinking paired with strong execution. 

    Envision a world different than the status quo with the ability to articulate a clear path to get there.

    Exceptional team-player that is willing to wear all hats. 

     

    Skills & Experience:

     

    You’ve lead and mentored product managers, engineers, and designers in how to work together to build great products.

    10+ years of experience in Product Management and leadership roles.

    The ideal candidate has had 4+ years in a rigorous acumen such as investment banking, private equity, and/or consulting, and then has 10+ years as a product leader at a fast-paced startup.

    A track record of getting increased scope and/or promotions at a previous employer.

    Experience with leading user research sessions.

    Experience with SQL or a willingness/aptitude to learn & collaborating with product teams.

    Experience in a high growth technology company
