This is a role for someone who is early in their career or has a few years of industry experience that is still hungry to learn how to build a great product in a startup. You will work with our engineering leaders and focus on developing AI and computer vision based software that enables food consumption tracking for food service business. If you are looking for new challenges beyond what you have solved in bigger companies, or you are trying to get on a fast track to start your career, this is a great opportunity to understand how enterprise products are created and scaled in new startup companies. Over time you’ll have the opportunity to become a domain expert and lead areas of product development.

You will be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced but highly collaborative environment and be able to carry out your projects with quality and speed. We’ll be here to support you, but we expect comfort with ambiguity and for you to be excited to start and own new projects and deliverables from scratch.

Responsibilities

 

Own enterprise product grade AI and computer vision software development

Work with product managers to identify product requirements and solutions; execute full software development life cycle (SDLC); document software functionality

Work in a team and support team members through collaboration

Help onboard new customers to our hardware and software systems. Help improve engineering processes for supporting customers

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

Master’s degree in math or engineering with industrial product development experience

Can relocate to Bay Area

Maturity, a team player with excellent communication skills and work ethics

Solid engineering skills in Java and Python

Experience with Computer Vision, OpenCV, and general AI/ML/NN modeling and implementation

Ability and excitement to convert product requirements to engineering design

Detail-oriented and provable skills in planning, multitasking and documentation

Experience with Android software development a  plus
