    About the jobWe are a full remote, multi-disciplinary team that builds quality digital products and services across government agencies. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end success of digital products that integrate user needs and stakeholder goals. 

    We seek a seasoned Project Manager with ten+ years experience shipping successful digital products using agile methodologies and human-centered design.

    This position requires a federal background investigation. US residency is required, with a necessity of living here three of the past five years. 

    Responsibilities

     

    Cultivate a collaborative and mission-driven team culture.

    Manage reporting, meticulous budget tracking, deliverables, velocity, performance metrics, SLAs, milestones, risks, key decisions, and timelines.

    Provide excellent oral and written communication - to all involved parties - on status and issues, plus oversees the preparation and completion of technical/ schedule reports on a regular basis.

    Proactively guide client relationship building and nurturing, including stakeholder 1:1s and leadership in difficult conversations. 

    Orchestrate contract management, tracking scope and action items/requests for all parts of the project, including monitoring deadlines.

    Collaborate with a Product Manager and federal customers/stakeholders for product definition and delivery approach, plus to balance engineering, design considerations, and stakeholder requirements for MVP results serving end users.

    Support in a Scrum Master role, coordinating with the Product Owner on ticket refinement and sprint planning. 

    Manage priorities and work independently and with little direction while developing a deep understanding of the technical subject matter and policy objectives.

    Work with the Sales and Strategy teams on RFP responses, relationship building and general business development activities.

    Navigate the laws, policies, and people within the government departments to drive the project forward.

    On/off board project team members.

    Support team members to create a high morale environment.

     

    Requirements

     

    At least ten years of experience managing agile IT projects.

    At least three years of government project experience. 

    A Bachelor’s degree or four additional years of experience. 

    Familiarity with Unanet or a similar ERP/SRP system.

    Experience managing large projects and multiple small teams with simultaneous timelines and deliverables.

    Demonstrated ability in budget reporting and tracking.

    Efficiency navigating bureaucracy in large organizations.

    Comfortable working side-by-side with a dedicated Scrum Master, Product Owner, and/or Product Manager.

    Demonstrated ability to communicate knowledgeably with technical experts across disciplines.

    Strong financial management and project planning skills.

    Preferred, but not required: Certification in agile or project management.

    Preferred, but not required: A previous U.S. Government background investigation.

     

    Salary

     

    $100,000- $125,000 USD per year

    Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
