The Sales Engineer at Transcend is a hardworking, self-motivated, and over achieving individual with experience and a passion for selling technology solutions to senior executives.
You will be responsible for selling into new prospects as we are farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels.
Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal dates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success.
What You'll Do
Conduct and deliver in-depth technical demonstrations of product to CTO, prospects and customers at all settings (remote, in-person (when possible), etc).
Assess prospects and customer needs pre and post sales, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfactn
Communicate technical requirements and potential competitor solutions. Deliver a strong technical response in aid to a prospect's and/or customer needs
Be the Transcend product expert when evaluating how to work with a new prospect
Partner with our Account Executive and Head of Sales to plan, prepare, and execute on strategic deals in full sales cycles
Respond to initial product requests and frame product issues for discussion and resolution with Product and Engineering teams
Document, and deliver both product feedback and new requirements from prospects to the Transcend Product and Engineering teams
Who You Are
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software engineering and web technologies
Proven track record of selling complex enterprise solutions
Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales
Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and creativity skills
Excellent sales and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
High energy and positive attitude

1 year of related product or sales experienced required
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent Sales Engineering experience with a technical product/buyer
