We’ve had fantastic traction growing the product to 500,000 users without sales or marketing. Now that we’ve validated product-market-fit, we’re ready to build out sales to accelerate growth and play a pivotal role in our go-to-market strategy. As a founding member of the sales team, you will work closely with the CEO to define and scale the sales motion. This is an opportunity to fast-track your career, earn meaningful equity, and close deals with industry-leading firms and departments across the country.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Driving revenue through fielding inbound leads and proactively reaching out to new prospects (starting from our community of over 500,000 monthly active users).
Identifying and qualifying leads,then developing them into high-value opportunities.
Building deep empathy and relationships with your accounts to understand their needs and priorities, and to speed up and simplify the deal process.
Owning the closing process, including negotiations and procurement activities.
Becoming the voice of the customer, feeding learnings back to the team to influence the product roadmap.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in closing (e.g. AE roles, partnerships/BD) and experience in B2B SaaS at a venture backed startup.
Experience managing end to end SaaS sales cycles.
A track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
Experience with Salesforce or Hubspot
A strong desire and willingness to learn and build as our product and processes evolve.
A good sense of humor and a down-to-earth personality.
A hustling mentality, no ask should be too small or too big, we are looking for someone who understands that small tasks have a huge impact.
