As a UX Engineer, you'll work on the front end of our products and features used by life scientists everyday. The work is challenging, fast-paced, and always changing. You have demonstrated analytical skills, an unwavering commitment to quality, a collaborative work ethic, and cutting-edge coding skills. You live and breathe the fundamentals of JavaScript (not just jQuery), React, CSS, HTML, and command a portfolio of web technologies new and old - all in order to launch innovative features to a global audience.

Our UX team include designers, researchers, and engineers who are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. We work on collaborative teams to solve complex challenges and craft experiences that highlight our products’ unique capabilities and personalities.

*Responsibilities:

Work closely with UX designers, project managers, and back-end engineers to implement versatile front-end solutions to web development issues

Explore product concepts to find promising directions that address both human and business needs

Advise, collaborate with, and synthesize feedback from UX designers and researchers

Deliver innovative, engaging prototypes using the latest in front-end technologies

Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team

 

*What we’re looking for:

*

 

2+ years of experience in an applied research setting, or similar

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, HCI, Design, or equivalent practical experience

Experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

Experience in designing and implementing user interfaces (UIs)

Experience in development or prototyping

You have demonstrated analytical skills, an unwavering commitment to quality, a collaborative work ethic, and cutting-edge coding skills

You are a results-oriented individual who is excited by the prospect of fueling the continued growth and success of Genemod by growing our sales pipeline. You have a “can-do” attitude and are relentless in pursuing goals and solving problems
