    About the jobAbout Us:

    Discover radically unique live streaming tool designed to help you build live streams that feel unmistakably like you in minutes.

    Founded in 2022, we are on a mission to empower everyone to create high-impact live streams that inform, engage, and dazzle. We are building a fully distributed team and global product - a team of builders, designers, and serial entrepreneurs determined to democratize livestream production and redefine live storytelling.

    About the Role:

    In this role, you’ll be joining as the core brand designer serving creative needs across the company and pushing forward our unique and beloved brand. From our website to printed matter, campaigns to social posts – you’ll work at every stage of a project from initial concepts through to production. Our team is still forming, so this is a great opportunity to help shape the company’s brand identity and have a tremendous impact. This role needs to be based on the West Coast of America (SF Bay Area, LA, Seattle, Vancouver, etc)

    What You'll Achieve:

     

    Lead all brand design initiatives to shape our website, printed matter, social, merch, videos, events and more

    Craft every detail of branded projects, from initial idea through to production

    Help lead and creatively direct external agencies and collaborators

    Create design systems and guidelines, finalize template and asset files for production

    Collaborate with teams across the company to bring initiatives and new products to market using novel design and storytelling solutions

    Develop a deep understanding of Opus’s brand and help to expand and evolve it over time

     

    Skills You’ll Need to Bring:

     

    5~10 years experience in an agency or in-house environment

    Outstanding portfolio of relevant work

    Excellence in visual illustration, typographic skills and animation / motion graphics

    Self-starter who brings new ideas to the table

    Strong presentation and communication skills

    Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

    A desire to review work, mentor others, and co-create with partners from different background and expertises.

    Good knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

     

    Nice to haves:

     

    A passion for toolmaking and expanding access to technology.

    Experience in photography, coding, writing, or other specialist skillset.
