About the jobInfront X is seeking a Business Development Director who is passionate about proactively pursuing new accounts and generating new revenue. Your responsibilities will include proactively reaching out to prospects, identifying and qualifying opportunities, and managing the entire sales process from lead to cash. This role will collaborate with other areas of the Infront X business including strategy, product management, project management, and engineering and will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer as a critical member of the Commercial team.

Responsibilities
Prospecting & Building Relationships
Building and managing target account lists for outbound sales initiatives.
Identify, qualify, and develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities. Manage the developed pipeline to established goals via CRM (Salesforce).
Establish and maintain relationships at a senior level with potential customers.
Become intimately knowledgeable of prospective account(s) and their business.
Attend networking and other sports tech industry events on behalf of Infront X.
*Managing Pitches and Proposals *
Collaborate with the Commercial and Delivery teams to pursue new opportunities.
Manage all phases of the business development lifecycle to successful close (including proposal development, implementation estimating, scope construction, and client presentations).
Deliver on commitments while managing all stakeholder communication, including the coordination of subject matter experts for pitches and proposals.
Generating Revenue
Drive and achieve key revenue targets in line with overall company growth projections and goals on a quarterly and yearly basis.
Lead new business development and company growth with a focus in North America.
Close new business deals and ensure a smooth transition for new clients with internal account management, technical and creative delivery teams.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in consultative selling for professional services
Relationships within the sports industry, preferably with rights holders and leagues
Self-motivated, high energy, results-driven sales professional
Proven track record as a “hunter” with a natural instinct to be bold and competitive
Experience and/or passion for the sports, gaming, and or media & entertainment industries
Successful track record selling into prospect accounts with engagements in the range of $250,000+
Resilient, persistence, and the ability to overcome objections, a self-starter
Experience operating autonomously with some direction and taking a proactive approach
Is a highly effective communicator, including the ability to build trust, persuade and negotiate effectively with prospective clients
Effectively manages time and prioritizes responsibilities
CRM experience with Salesforce or similar, preferred
