About the role

As our first Product Marketing hire, you will have a huge and unique career opportunity in establishing Height’s positioning and messaging by deeply understanding our audience, the project management landscape and defining our GTM strategy from the ground up. Your work will directly increase awareness around Height as a quick growing and exciting tech brand and it will ultimately help to drive sign ups. Responsibilities include:

 

Researching the audience through both quantitative and qualitative exercises to develop audience personas

Working directly with the Product Team to understand the product development roadmap and to support launches with GTM plans

Owning template development and website messaging as well as contributing to blogs and paid advertising copy

Collaborating with Digital Marketing to execute GTM plans with paid advertising elements

Keeping tabs on the project management landscape and competition to ensure Height maintains a unique and relevant position

Working directly with the Head of Marketing on marketing’s overall goal to increase adoption of Height

 

We’re looking for someone who:

 

Has 2+ years relevant experience in Product Marketing Management, ideally at a SaaS company

Has a proven track record of successfully launching integrated GTM campaigns, has participated in deep audience persona building and has previously crafted copy for newsletters and blog posts before

Excels at written communication — has experience with and a desire to write content themselves

Is naturally curious and excited to identify new areas of focus and ways to reach our target audience

A team player who thrives in a fast-moving environment, preferably with experience in early stage startup environments

Every marketing team member is a highly experienced individual who is an expert in their field and contributes to the marketing team’s overall goal to grow Height and increase brand awareness. The marketing team prides itself on collaborating across all teams, directly working on campaigns with the product, engineering, design, and leadership teams. Height marketing is not afraid to make bets and push the boundaries when it comes to B2B marketing.

About the Height team

Spearheaded by early Stripe employees, the team operates remote-first, with teammates across the US timezones and western Europe, including NYC, SF, Philadelphia, Zurich, Vancouver, Seattle, Atlanta, Iowa City, and Boston. The team is comprised of people from Stripe, Instagram, Front, Foursquare, AWS, Google, Zillow, Sunrise/Microsoft and more, so we're very down-to-earth, experienced startup folks.
