    Our last 3 years have been phenomenal. Our AI-based chatbot has captured–and will continue to capture—the heart of many businesses here in Japan. We have recently secured a series E funding totaling $33.8M led by JIC Venture Growth Investments and Salesforce venture This is however simply the first chapter of our story. According to BCG, The conversational commerce market is scaling rapidly in both the US and Asian markets. We want to be at the epicenter of this growing phenomenon. As the forefront of modern technology, we believe that establishing a sales organization in the US is a crucial first step in bringing our conversational commerce tech to a global audience.

    You will help usher in a new dawn for Zeals. Supporting the rapid growth and expansion of our business across the US by finding leads, closing sales and serving as the  link between Zeals and our customers, 

    *Your (not-so) typical day with us *

     

    Managing an entire sales cycle from finding customers  to securing a deal

    Present our Chat Commerce to potential customers 

    Evangelize the growth and potential of conversational commerce 

    Provide post-sales support to maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty 

    Bridging the gap between Zeals and its customers 

    Uncover sales opportunities through networking 

    Foster excellent relationship with key stakeholders and decision makers 

    Monitor and analyze trends in the US market—acting as an advisor to our Japanese-based board members **

     

    *What You Bring *

     

    Proven track record with at least 2 years of experience selling SaaS products to medium and large enterprises 

    Proven experience working as an Account Executive or similar role

    Demonstrated understanding market research, sales best practices, and negotiating principles 

    Deep network ties to target subcategories

    Exceptional communication and outstanding ability to build relationship 

    Customer-obsessed 

    Strong analytical skills

    Performance driven with consistent record in delivering KPIs

    Scrappy, gritty, and entrepreneurial 

     

    *What Makes You Stand Out *

     

    Deep network ties to target subcategories

    Experience selling SaaS or tech solution to ecommerce and Martech experience a plus 

    Deep understanding of customer pain points and needs around in the MarTech stack

    Knowledgeable in conversational commerce space 

    Business level proficiency in Japanese 

    Experience in launching a B2B product in a new territory

    Experience working with Japanese or APAC based C-level executives.
