Job Purpose / Role
We are looking for a Financial Data Analyst (m/f/d) who is able to take over service ownership and support the continuous improvement of our operational processes. Our responsibility is to assure a reliable service delivery in a dynamic environment to support the reporting and decision-making process of our clients by combining Finance and IT know-how. In this role you will gain deep insights into the underlying data model of a major financial company, from a technical as well as a business perspective.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise data flows and proper processing within our service “Performance and Reporting Data Service (PaRDS)” which is responsible for the processing, aggregation and delivery of performance related data
- Ensure smooth data processing and the achievement of agreed data quality standards in close cooperation with the team, developers and external providers
- Resolve service disruptions in timely manner, e.g. issues with data quality or processing
- Proactively identify process improvements and work with experts from other departments to ensure the continuous improvement of our services
- Handle complex client inquiries, e.g. analysis of data flows and validating results
- Support the development of quality checks and definition of KPIs for the service delivery to our clients
- Participate in projects to implement new client requirements, e.g. onboarding of new data sources
Key Requirements / Skills / Experience
- University degree in mathematics, economics, business administration and/ or equivalent experience in finance combined with a profound IT-background
- Good knowledge of financial instruments and capital markets
- Knowledge about performance calculation is an advantage
- High data affinity and experience in data analysis, preferably with relational databases (SQL, PL/SQL)
- Independent way of working, process-oriented thinking and a strong service attitude
- Experience in working with or management of service providers is an advantage
- Team player mentality, creativity and problem-solving mentality
- Strong service attitude, autonomy and an above average willingness to perform
- Fluent in English, German is an advantage
