Submittable is seeking a Vice President of Product to join our team in Bellevue, Washington, or Missoula, Montana. You’re a great fit for this role if you are a technology-centric product leader that thrives on growth and scaling a modern B2B enterprise SaaS platform.

You’ll join a team of Product Managers who are currently helping drive 60%+ year-over-year growth but don’t take ourselves too seriously and favor plain language over marketing buzzwords. There’s a solid base of product and content marketing materials for experimentation and campaigns, product-market fit, and new markets ahead for expansion.

This is an executive leadership position and reports to the Chief Technology Officer.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

In this role, you will help us innovate and scale our product strategy and roadmap by healthy and cohesive roadmap across products, coordinating and communicating a solution strategy, driving alignment across product managers, engineering, and executives, and enabling each product manager to execute to the best of their capability. The ideal candidate has product experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments; has successfully managed teams before; and will bring a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution to the team:

• Own the ideation and execution of Submittable’s product roadmap
• Drive all aspects of product development across multiple products
• Leverage data and insights to develop product strategy and inform decision-making
• Hire and cultivate additional talent and scale the product organization
• Comfortable with being customer facing in an outbound capacity and clearly communicating our product in market
• Be a culture champion who acts with urgency and instills an inclusive environment of collaboration and high performance
• Develop the skill sets of the product team members by being hands-on with coaching
• Develop a process for experimentation and innovation to stay on top of best practices and trends, and find new channels, tactics, audiences and offers to achieve goals
• Be the internal champion of your team’s work, communicating successes and learnings both at the executive level and with peers throughout the company

Skills & Experience You Bring:

• 12+ years of product management experience in B2B tech
• 6+ years of experience building and managing teams
• Have led and scaled the product management efforts for a growth-stage SaaS business with mid-market and enterprise buyers
• Successful track record of defining, executing, and measuring SaaS products
• Experience launching new products in new markets with an emphasis on experimentation, learning, and rapid iteration
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, both at the executive level and with peers and cross-functional team. Can distill complex concepts into clear language, teach others about your work, and clearly articulate ideas, frame problems and offer solutions.

Salary Details: The annual salary range for this position is $225,000-$275,000 OTE. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.

Position Location: This role will be located in Bellevue, WA, or, Missoula, MT following a hybrid work model. Our staff is expected to be willing to work from one of our office locations twice a week or as needed by your team.
