Position Overview

Reporting to Karisa Wade, Ambient AI is looking for a Solution Architect (Post Sales) who strongly desires to work closely with big-name companies on leading-edge software, provide expert advice, and help solve some of their mission-critical problems.

The Solution Architect role is perfect for someone hardworking and driven with energy, passion, and initiative to understand our customer's business requirements and drive positive business outcomes through technology.

The focus of this role will be supporting the initial design and implementation for new production customers, as well as the expansion of an existing customer footprint to a new site or adding new solution functionality. Part consultant and product expert, you’ll be passionate about guiding our enterprise customers to get their Ambient.ai software up and running quickly, allowing them to see value quickly.

The impact you’ll make:

• Partnering with the Implementation and Customer Success team, serving as a technical advisor to support the design and deployment of the Ambient solution for our customers
• Building strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor by providing technical expertise, answering technical inquiries, and offering recommendations.
• Understanding customer requirements and collaborating on solution ideation, design, and implementation
• Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions
• Supporting customer growth and expansion through the identification of new opportunities and the development of solutions to address those opportunities
• Working cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to influence the roadmap, stay connected to the internal teams, act as a voice of the customer, and be consultative in your approach to solving real business problems

The amazing skills you bring to Ambient AI:

• 5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Solutions Architect, with a focus on SaaS and disruptive cloud technologies
• You show technical knowledge, consultative skills, and the ability to work effectively and contribute to the extended team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; can display trust and integrity under pressure when working through customer issues
• Self-motivated, proactive team player with a high level of integrity and desire to assist your colleagues and customers - you can be flexible as the company & role scales
• Great interpersonal skills and ability to build strong internal and external relationships

• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills

• Solid understanding of L2 switching (VLANs, limitations of L2 vs. L3, physical vs. logical network isolation

• Basic Linux networking skills (assigning IP/mask/gateway to NICs, configuring MLAG/failover redundancy)

• Bonus: Domain knowledge in the field of CCTV, video surveillance, VMS (Video Management Systems), Access Control, Biometrics, Identity access management, Visitor Identity Management, Camera Security System, PACS (Physical access control systems)

We take a market-based approach to pay here at Ambient.ai, and pay may vary depending on multiple factors. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, level, market conditions, and internal parity.

Base salary is just one component of our total rewards package. As a fast-growing start-up, our regular employees are also granted stock options and an opportunity to succeed when Ambient.ai succeeds. As a young start-up with product market fit, our stock upside is substantial and a large part of our total rewards strategy.

The pay scale below represents the starting base salary range we expect to pay for this position and is subject to change*:

SF Bay Area: $150,000 - $170,000

*Occasionally, we may make an offer to a candidate that is either leveled below or above this role based on skills, experience, and interview performance.
