My client is a multi-business organisation looking for an office based skilled VoIP Engineer with specifc experience in Asterisk and Linux? We're seeking a talented individual to join a dynamic team. As a VoIP Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our VoIP infrastructure, leveraging your expertise in Asterisk and Linux to ensure seamless communication solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, configuring, and troubleshooting VoIP systems based on Asterisk
• Implementing and optimizing Linux-based VoIP solutions - Redhat / CentOS / Ubuntu
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate VoIP systems with existing network infrastructure
• Providing technical expertise and support for VoIP-related issues
• Contributing to the development of innovative VoIP solutions and services

Requirements:

• Proven experience in VoIP engineering and administration
• In-depth knowledge of Asterisk and Linux systems
• Proficiency in SIP, RTP, and other VoIP protocols
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in VoIP environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

 

This role is office based commutable between Salford and Manchester City Centre.  Nearest train is Salford Crescent !
