Benchling's mission is to unlock the power of biotechnology. The world's most innovative biotech companies use Benchling's R&D Cloud to power the development of breakthrough products and accelerate time to milestone and market. Benchling's customers generate a rich variety of science data. To keep up innovation, Benchling needs highly scalable and effective infrastructure and developer experience pipelines that can serve our internal engineers, to enable the overall mission.
The Release Engineering team owns software release at Benchling. Our responsibility spans integration and deployment of code, across both our continuous (multiple deploys per day) and validated (quarterly deployments) pipelines. We serve Benchling software engineers as our customers. Indirectly, we also serve Benchling's end users for both our Standard and Validated Cloud product offerings.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll shape our platform for agility, performance, and security. Collaborate with engineers across the Infrastructure organization to enable our software engineers to get their code into production quickly, safely, and without manual effort. Your work will be pivotal as we grow alongside our global user base, providing highly reliable and trusted infrastructure.
Work closely with infrastructure, platform, and application teams to prepare our validated (quarterly) releases and patches for seamless deployments, and improve the processes around them.
Support engineers across Benchling to understand real time developer experience with our CI/CD pipelines. Investigate issues, risks, and cost.
