    The Role

    Hover is a software platform offering measurement, visualization, estimation, and ordering solutions to the construction and insurance markets. Hover uses patented technology making it possible for anyone with a smartphone camera to create an interactive 3D model, complete with detailed measurements and powerful design features.     Why Hover wants you

    We are looking for a senior leader to oversee scalable and sustainable revenue growth. You will own customer acquisition, lead generation, engagement and retention activities across all paid and owned channels. Reporting into the Chief Marketing Officer and sitting on the Marketing Leadership Team, the Senior Director, Growth Marketing will lead a team of five Growth Marketers with a seven figure budget to enable all our customers - Homeowners, Construction Pros, Insurance Carriers and Suppliers.

    You will contribute by

    • Being a collaborative team member on the Marketing Leadership Team who enhances our team’s strategy, planning, creative and operating processes.
    • Building and leading a high-performing Growth Marketing Team by fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, professional growth, and accountability.
    • Leading the development and execution of self-serve growth marketing strategies and campaigns to both consumers and businesses. Regularly analyzing results and creating snapshots that communicate performance to executives & employees.
    • Expanding and strengthening our next horizon channels in advertising, lead generation, content and co-marketing through and ‘to’ our top tier Manufacturer and Distributor relationships.
    • Acting as a champion for marketing who builds strong partnerships, operating models, and a ‘GSD’ discipline with your Product, Sales, Business Development, and RevOps partners.
    • Building a strong growth marketing foundation by investing in new MarTech solutions and leading the continuous improvement of analytics and attribution capabilities through cross-functional partners.

    Your background includes

    • 12+ years’ growth, performance and/or acquisition marketing in scaling and owning sustainable revenue growth in a high growth start-up.
    • Has led B2C and B2B marketing at transactional, SaaS, and/or two-sided marketplaces companies of $100M+ in revenues, with a large marketing budget.
    • Prior experience sitting on a marketing leadership team.
    • Proven ability to recruit, build, and mentor high-performance teams.
    • An execution-focused operator who knows how to create systems (eg, planning, performance mgt, creative…) that drive continuous optimizations.
    • Exceptional data-driven decision making and analytical skills. Experience building multi-touch attribution, segmentation, forecasting & Tableau reporting.
    • Deep background in test planning, execution and tracking.
    • Flexible, problem solver who is a ‘student of the craft’, staying ahead of the curve and voraciously consuming growth marketing education.
    • Strong leadership presence. Phenomenal written and verbal communicator who can tell concise, persuasive stories to all levels of the company.
    • Deep knowledge of advertising (eg, FB, Google) and multi-touch attribution platforms, HubSpot, and other key MarTech stack components.
    • Self-motivated go-getter who operates independently, gets it done, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
    • B.S. in marketing, mathematics, economics or finance. Master’s degree preferred.
    • Up to ~25% travel, depending on home location

    Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we encourage employees to be in the office 1-2 times per week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is *$220,000 - $265,000*. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
