We are looking for a person to lead the Roblox App QA team, responsible for quality assurance of the Roblox app. The team currently consists of 6-8 full time QA coordinators who use outsourced testers. The team collaborates closely with Roblox Engine QA, responsible for testing the gaming experience.

The Roblox App QA team is a part of the Platform Orchestration team, whose responsibilities include app QA, app CI and build pipeline, test automation, and delivery of updates to the app stores. The QA Manager will work with the Senior Engineering Manager leading Platform Orchestration.

You will:

• Ensure effective QA for Roblox Player App, enjoyed by over 70 million active daily users world-wide.
• Drive and support the continuous innovation and improvement of QA processes and procedures.
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Quality Assurance Coordinators focused on weekly app releases and new feature development.
• Work in tandem with release teams, continuingly driving process improvement for the app release process.
• Work with offsite testing vendors to maximize the value they bring to Roblox
• Work with the test automation team to ensure automation of routine testing.

You have:

• 7+ years of QA Experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role.
• QA experience shipping high profile mobile apps distributed via Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Strong people leadership skills.
• Experience providing QA support for multiple engineering groups with conflicting schedules and priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead QA and release process improvement.
• Experience in console QA is a strong plus. For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.Annual Salary Range$239,190—$296,300 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
