Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global People strategy aligned with Topsort's mission, values, and business objectives. Collaborate with the executive team to drive company growth and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Build and scale an HR operation for global teams, navigate a hyper growth phase of recruiting top talent from technical to commercial.
- Craft an employee experience that exudes warmth and care within a strong, inclusive, and diverse culture by creating and executing programs that enhance employee engagement, motivation, and satisfaction. Drive initiatives to improve communication, collaboration, and transparency across all teams.
- Be a player coach, we expect you to be a "jack / jane of all trades" in HR that's not afraid to roll up your sleeves and do the work, but also can shape Topsort’s HR department and scale.
- Build strategies to align global talent acquisition efforts, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent across the globe. Develop talent management programs, including onboarding, learning & training programs, performance management, and career development.
- Compliance, Benefits, Policies - We are not here to create bureaucracy but keeping things neat and tidy while creating intelligent automation is much needed (Rippling Guru? Even better)
- Help us not lose the startup soul as we scale from double digit headcount to triple digit headcount, expand our global operations, and keep the team culture close to the mission and consistent, putting the "care" in people care.
- Be a people analytics rockstar! Data and analytics are extremely powerful tools to measure programs, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve our organizational performance.
What we expect from you
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Analytics, Engineering, STEM, or a related field; Master’s degree, MBA or HR certification is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in Recruiting & People Operations, familiar with scaling venture backed companies. Fluent in a global setting with an international hybrid team that is 70% engineering and product.
- Fluent with Rippling (our choice of HRIS), Greenhouse (our current ATS), Linkedin Recruiter, plus a strong understanding of USl HR practices, labor law, and regulations.
- Creative Thinking in navigating the unknowns and balancing the knowns of designing and implementing talent acquisition, employee engagement, DEI, and organizational development strategies.
- Experienced with performance reviews, building and managing global compensation structures.
- Data-driven and analytical mindset with the ability to leverage HR metrics to drive decision-making and improve organizational performance.
- Strong IQ, and even stronger EQ. Passion for people, culture, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Comfort with traveling and bonus points if you speak multiple languages.
- Be a hands-on person who loves startups!
