WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Work on our state-of-the-art compaction-less database, Firewood.
• Be a primary contributor to our blockchain-optimized storage engine that can be used to launch high-performance L1s on Avalanche
• Assist the team in readying Firewood (Alpha testing) for production

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Demonstrated capability in the software storage area (open source code or published work is a bonus)
• Experience working on embedded database systems, especially those optimized for key storage
• Knowledge of data serialization formats for efficient storage
• Expert blockchain fundamentals and understanding of state synchronizations
• Deep understanding of trie structures and their operations
• Rust AND Golang, C++, or C

Salary Range: $190,400 to $238,000
