Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in gaming mouse design, with a strong understanding of CAD nuances specific to gaming peripherals.

• Proven expertise in refining gaming mouse click mechanisms, including knowledge of how component tolerances and design adjustments impact click feel.

• Hands-on experience with production line processes and quality control protocols in consumer electronics or gaming hardware.

• Skilled in manufacturing techniques such as plastic injection molding and assembly line processes, with experience in optimizing production for precision and efficiency.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Creo) for design adjustments and modifications.

• Familiarity with quality control standards, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing production challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Refine and optimize existing gaming mouse designs, focusing on improving ergonomics, durability, and click feel to meet performance standards.

• Be primarily on-site at the manufacturing facility, closely monitoring all stages of production, from component assembly to final inspection, to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.

• Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure that production techniques, assembly steps, and quality checks are conducted with precision and consistency.

• Perform regular quality control inspections, identifying and addressing any variances or issues in real time to maintain high product quality and minimize defects.

• Conduct root cause analysis on any recurring issues or deviations, implementing corrective actions with factory teams to prevent future occurrences.

• Collaborate with production teams and suppliers to make any necessary design or process adjustments that enhance product performance and streamline production.

• Provide technical guidance on manufacturing processes and quality control methods to ensure the end product meets durability and functionality requirements.

• Support ongoing process improvements, leveraging industry best practices to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
