We are looking to hire a Data Entry Clerk,  responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data in various company databases and systems. This role requires excellent attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to efficiently manage and organize large volumes of information. The Data Entry Clerk will play an essential role in ensuring the integrity and accessibility of critical business data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update data into the company’s database systems with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Review and verify data for errors or inconsistencies and make corrections as necessary.
  • Ensure that data is properly organized and formatted for easy access and reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive and personal information.
  • Perform regular data backups and ensure proper data storage protocols are followed.
  • Prepare and sort documents for data entry, ensuring all required information is present.
  • Conduct routine data checks and audits to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to obtain or clarify information for data entry.
  • Generate reports from data systems and assist in providing data insights when required.
  • Maintain a clear and organized filing system for both physical and digital records.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, including answering calls or organizing paperwork.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a data entry or administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient typing skills with a high level of speed and accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and data management software.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of data security and confidentiality protocols.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of concentration and focus for extended periods of time.
