    About the job

    What You’ll Be Doing:

    As the company’s second User Researcher, you will lead end-to-end research using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods and will be a part of our remote-friendly design team. You’ll report to our Lead User Researcher.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Partnering closely with product managers, designers, engineers and data analysts to identify and prioritize research questions.
    • Designing and executing qualitative and quantitative research studies, including interviews, usability tests, surveys and diary studies, and more.
    • Developing research plans, determining methods, creating instruments, recruiting participants and executing research.
    • Analyzing research data to identify trends, insights, and actionable findings that inform product and design decisions.
    • Documenting findings and presenting insights to teams and stakeholders in a clear and compelling way, leveraging storytelling techniques to convey user needs and opportunities.
    • Creating artifacts that encapsulate key insights about user needs, behaviors, and motivations to support product and design teams.
    • Continuously advocating for users and providing strategic insights that inform the design and product development process.
    • Supporting and iterating on processes for continuous research and sharing (e.g. rolling research, research repositories).
    • Partnering to define and expand the role of Research at Grow.

    Salary range: $135-160k

    You’ll Be a Good Fit If:

    • You’ve been a full-time user researcher for 2-4 years and are proficient in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, interviews, diary studies, surveys, and data analysis.
    • You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights clearly to various audiences.
    • You uphold research ethics and are sensitive to the complexities of research involving PHI and sensitive populations.
    • You’re passionate about impact and can speak to how you work with partners to ensure findings and recommendations land and spark change.
    • You’re curious, resourceful, and collaborative.
