    T-Rex Solutions is seeking a Project Manager that would have a primary responsibility for delivery execution oversight and resource management for a new DHS program.

    This position will typically be located in either Colorado Springs, CO, Stennis, MS, Chandler, AZ, National Capitol Region (NCR) or Remote where applicable. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications, appropriate clearance level, and are geographically aligned (or the ability to relocate) will be considered first.

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitors team performance, including schedule and cost management
    • Surfaces and consolidates major risks identified by delivery teams and facilitates PMO-level assessments and mitigation measures
    • Ensures that resource needs, including surge requirements, identified by delivery teams and CBP OIT, are satisfied
    • Identifies issues requiring immediate attention of the BPA Program Manager
    • Interfaces with all team managers, including the Customer Success Manager, the Architecture, Engineering and Integration Manager, and Operations Manager
    • Acts as main liaison to resellers and vendors
    • Serves as back-up to the BPA Program Manager when needed

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology preferred; any subject area is acceptable
    • At least ten (10) years of professional experience in federal contracting
    • Not less than seven (7) years of experience in management roles on cloud and IT infrastructure contracts
    • Demonstrated record leading IT modernization programs with measurable outcomes
    • Risk Management expertise
    • Schedule Management expertise
    • Communications Management expertise
    • Experience supporting customer Governance and Change Management processes
    • Experience applying Total Business Management (TBM) concepts and precepts
    • Experience developing SELC/SDLC Artifacts
    • Direct knowledge and experience with CBP OIT processes, tools and technologies, and culture
    • An in-depth understanding of the CBP cloud and infrastructure environment
    • Knowledge of Cloud services, ITSM, and ITIL
    • Experience delivering services following Agile methodologies
    • Experience leading federal customers through major changes
    • PMP Certified
    • Active Secret Clearance, with Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs & Border Protection (CBP) preferred

    In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
