    The Role

    As a Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise throughout the entire sales cycle, from discovery to implementation. This role requires a curious and passionate individual who is eager to develop a deep understanding of Tapcart’s product and our primary ecosystem partners, such as Shopify. You will play a critical role in researching and analyzing a customer’s tech stack to ensure compatibility with Tapcart, presenting findings directly to customers, and facilitating communication through various channels, including calls, email, and Slack. You will provide tailored solutions and resolve technical objections, helping merchants confidently choose Tapcart and supporting the sales team in closing deals with clarity and trust.

    How You Will Make an Impact

    • Serve as a technical advisor during the sales cycle, answering questions, addressing objections, and ensuring seamless alignment with merchant needs.

    • Research and validate merchant tech stacks for compatibility with Tapcart, identifying potential challenges and solutions.

    • Deliver highly customized technical product demonstrations tailored to each merchant’s business goals.

    • Support the completion of RFPs and technical documentation to streamline complex sales cycles.

    • Collaborate with Agency and Tech Partners to help scope projects, streamlining development timelines and ensuring successful outcomes.

    • Enable the sales team to position professional services effectively, providing the knowledge and tools needed to set clear expectations with prospects.

    • Provide detailed handoffs to Implementation teams, including notes, scope, and onboarding recommendations.

    • Partner with Enablement and Product teams to train internal teams on Tapcart’s product updates, Shopify trends, and how to communicate technical value to merchants.

    • Act as a liaison between Sales and Product, providing insights to inform the product roadmap and improve alignment with customer needs.

    What Skills You’ll Need

    Required Skills:

    • 3+ years of experience as a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, Product Manager, or equivalent role in a B2B SaaS company.

    • Proven ability to scope complex solutions and create detailed technical documents, such as Statements of Work (SOW), for collaboration with engineering and implementation teams.

    • Strong understanding of APIs, software infrastructure, and iOS/Android development platforms.

    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

    • Demonstrated experience managing customer-specific customizations or proof-of-concept projects.

    • Interest in retail’s digital transformation and a solid grasp of e-commerce trends and Shopify’s ecosystem.

    • Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure to identify creative, scalable solutions.

    Bonus Skills:

    • Experience with Shopify or other major ecommerce platforms.

    • Familiarity with JavaScript SDKs, HTML, CSS, and design tools.

    • Hands-on experience developing or managing integrations between platforms and third-party systems.

    • Background in mobile app development using Swift, Xcode, or Android Studio.

    • Experience creating training materials and enabling cross-functional teams to position technical solutions effectively.

    Salary Range: $140,000-$175,000 OTE
