Senior PHP Developer (Singapore) - Mandarin speaker

We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer who is willing to take responsibility in a fast paced startup environment.
This position will be dedicated to provide support to our Online Travel Distribution Partners in China through our API, that is why Mandarin speaking skills is important.

Responsibilities:

- We need an expert PHP developer that will be able to build and maintain complex, fast and scalable applications.
- Estimate and deliver on development tasks with high level of accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the IT team, coordinating and participating in the projects life-cycle.
- Contribute to the overall design and development of the products we build and support, with a focus on scalability, usability, maintainability and performance.
- Manage all communications with IT teams of our Chinese partners.

Skills & Requirements:

- Ability to write fast and scalable applications
- Ability to write quality and well documented code
- Expert in PHP and MySQL with 5+ years of experience
- Good knowledge of Unit Testing and Test Driven Development
- Source control with Git (Github)
- Ability to code secure and safe applications.
- Experience with Unit Testing
- Experience integrating with 3rd party platforms using APIs
- Experience in PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, CodeIgniter etc)
- Prepared to move to Singapore
- Independent and a good communication skills a must
- Mandarin and English speaker

Not necessary but give you bonus points:

- Front-end HTML/CSS/JavaScript/AJAX coding experience
- Experience with Redis/Memcached
- Experience with Nginx/PHP-FPM
- Experience with content delivery networks
