As Applications Analyst, you will provide technical support and expertise in the delivery of enterprise wide IT application services and software solutions to the Museum’s circa 1,000 staff and for the millions of guests who visit and use the Museum’s services.
Key areas of responsibility:
Technical expertise delivering:
• Cloud services across PAAS and SAAS (Azure)
• Active directory and domain services (FIM \ MIM)
• Software management (SCCM)
• Creation and maintenance of technology roadmaps, ensuring the services are appropriately aligned to the Museum and interdependent technologies
• Key role in the identification and project delivery of new application technologies and software services
Operational Support:
• Responsible for the uptime and performance of the Museum’s IT applications. Liaising with managers, 3rd line colleagues and service delivery staff to ensure ITIL incidents and problems are resolved effectively
• Ensure services meet security best practice and meet Museum continuity and DR requirements. Run tests and create improvement plans annually
• Manage vendors and service providers ensuring suppliers perform against SLAs
• Evaluate and test new application services and solutions
Key technologies:
• Azure \ Office365 \ Intune \ Active Directory & Domain Services \ FIM or MIM \ SCCM \ PowerShell \ Strong applications delivery and support experience
We’re looking for a team player who is organised, task driven and has previous experience in a Systems Engineer or Application Analyst role. You will be educated to A-Level, or equivalent, and will have worked with third party suppliers and vendors in delivering application services in the past.
