Responsibilities

· You will work closely with a small, insanely great team to design and build and enhance Evie

· We focus on solving classic AI problems in natural language understanding, dialogue modelling, reasoning, natural language generation and personalization so we can deliver a magical end-user experience while we build an AI platform

· You’ll work in a mix of Ruby and Python, backed by PostgreSQL operating in a modern hybrid environment of relational and unstructured(NoSQL) data 

Requirements

· You’re smart, driven and excited about tackling hard problems and building foundational technology platforms

· You’re independent and self-directed, but understand how your work fits into the bigger picture

· You enjoy working with other highly-motivated engineers in a fast-paced environment and get a thrill from coming up with beautiful, elegant solutions to complex problems

· You’re interested in intelligent agents, chatbots, NLU (parsing, dependency analysis, semantic role labelling, memory-based neural networks), and/or broader machine learning

· You have a BA/BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent. A MSc or PhD in a relevant field is a plus

· You have an agile, flexible mind that thrives on quickly learning & integrating new concepts (we operate on the cutting edge!)
