We are looking for a Web Developer to help us expand our marketplace currently being used by 200 millions of people from all over the world. If you have a solid PHP knowledge and want to make a difference, then this is for you!

You will join the Appstore team that aims to re-invent App discovery experience and does a range of products for Android platform. The team consists of Android developers, designers, QA, web, and product elements, which is essential for its success.

Role

• Deploying code to a production environment

• Fixing eventual bugs in the v3 and v7 API

• Create or change web services requested by the android developers

• Doing code reviews

Main requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Proficient in object-oriented PHP programming, with 4+ years of experience not only in the language but also with associated libraries and frameworks

• Proficient with HTML5 and CSS3

• Experience in PHP templating

• Background experience with databases (Postgres or MySQL) and with SQL programming

• Knowledge of security, with programming concerns for secure programming avoiding possible known and less known flaws (SQL injection, XSS,...)

• Experience developing large-scale, complex web applications and an appreciation for a pragmatic and well-tested code.
