With one million registered users, more than eight million different products sold reBuy.de is the easy-to-use online reCommerce retailer in Germany. It all started with an idea of two students and increased into a million dollar vision. The first storage consisted of a simple billy shelf from ikea, filled with a couple of video games. Within the years, the shelf turned into a 10.000qm² large logistics center in Berlin where customers can choose from over one million articles in 10 categories. Today reBuy.de is one of the leading players in European reCommerce industry with 400 employees in its Berlin headquarters and grew up into a powerful business.

The frontend is the garden of our product and our goal is to make it bloom and as beautiful as possible. Join our party on their way towards that goal and support us with your frontend skills. Groom, trim and rake by adding new features, improving customer related metrics and evolve our website. Angular 6, webpack and TypeScript will be your tools of trade while using SASS and BEM will enable you to let designs become reality. Take decisions for the right ingredients based on data you receive from tools like speedcurve, sentry, google analytics and A/B-Tests.

As the frontend flourishes, you will also work with the backend colleagues of your team to create the APIs that your freshly planted features require. Your green thumb is still twitching? Unroot bugs and wrap your head around weird issues that frontend development unveils.

All while preventing our node_modules becoming the heaviest object known in the universe.

Main requirements

• Solid experience with Angular
• TypeScript is your bread and butter
• Sass doesn’t have any secrets to you
• You are familiar with Webpack
• You understand the necessity of testing your code
• You love to take decisions because it's your product
• Pragmatic, simple solutions are as important as having a strong opinion
