Your responsibilities at Coya:

• You will play a key role building and designing the architecture of the core product
• Working with product managers to help define new features and coordinate the integration into the technical roadmap
• Focus on sustainable development through proper documentation and tested code
• Help define the processes and frameworks in the engineering team to support a high-performing engineering organization

Main requirements

• 4+ years hands-on development experience
• Aptitude to reason about and design good system architectures
• Excellent programming skills in Javascript (ideally Elm or React)
• Experience with functional programming languages (ideally Scala and the JVM)
• Good understanding of computer science concepts
• Worked previously in agile environments
• Experience with distributed and scalable systems
• Used to work with TDD and automated testing
• You’re able to work in an English-speaking work environment

Nice to have

• Acquainted with functional or reactive systems programming, in particular event streaming
• Experience with certification processes
