We are hiring a Manager to serve as the bridge between electrochemical and materials research and development, product development, and commercial implementation. This is a leadership role requiring hands-on technical depth and strong cross-functional execution. You will translate complex experimental findings into product specifications, validation plans, and commercialization actions, ensuring Doctech’s technologies are both technically excellent and commercially viable.
The Manager is responsible for leading multidisciplinary research and development teams, coordinating technical activities, overseeing the progress of experimental work, and ensuring that project milestones and deliverables are achieved on schedule. Duties include supervising technical teams, guiding execution of research activities, monitoring project performance, and supporting the preparation of reports and deliverables to meet project objectives within the funding period.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate electrochemical analysis, materials characterization, and application-driven R&D activities that directly support product development.
- Design, execute, and oversee experimental programs to optimize performance, repeatability, stability, and industrial readiness.
- Interpret complex datasets, identify root causes/mechanisms, and propose innovative solutions to key R&D challenges.
- Translate R&D outcomes into product specifications, performance targets, validation logic, and development roadmaps.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration among R&D, engineering, operations/scale-up, and commercialization teams to ensure aligned execution and on-time delivery.
- Support market-facing work by connecting technical capabilities with customer needs, including requirements capture, product positioning inputs, and pre-commercial validation planning.
- Participate in partnership/customer technical discussions and support preparation of stakeholder materials.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, project documentation, and clear updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior researchers/engineers by setting execution standards and ensuring reproducibility.
